Defender’s experience for cadets: a meeting at DSUIA

Third-year cadets of the Faculty of Training Specialists for Pre-trial Investigation Bodies of the NPU met with a defender of Ukraine, a graduate of DSUIA, a representative of the separate assault brigade “Liut” Eduard Kameniev.

During the meeting, Eduard Kameniev shared with the cadets his own life and professional experience, told about his path from studying at the university to service and the performance of tasks as part of the assault brigade “Liut”.

Special attention was paid to the combat experience acquired during the performance of tasks in the Donetsk and other directions. He told about the realities of combat work, the difficulties that the defenders of Ukraine face, the importance of the coherence of the unit, mutual assistance, discipline and psychological resilience.

Separately, he emphasized the importance of preparing the young generation, a responsible attitude to the chosen profession and constant improvement of one’s knowledge and skills. According to him, in difficult conditions, endurance, determination, mutual support and the ability to act as a single team remain especially important.

For the cadets, the meeting became an opportunity to talk with a person who has direct experience of performing tasks in the areas of combat operations, ask questions and hear practical advice.

Similar meetings contribute to the formation in future police officers of an understanding of the realities of service in the conditions of war, foster a sense of responsibility, courage and readiness to worthily perform their professional and civic duty.
