Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs joined the action “Service. Protection. Memory”, conducted on August 29 on the Day of Remembrance of the defenders of Ukraine.
The purpose of the action is honoring the memory of employees of units of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, who died in the struggle for independence, sovereignty and territorial integrity of Ukraine. The event simultaneously took place in the regional centers of the state and united representatives of the bodies of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
DSUIA was represented by one of the cars of the Barrier-Free Driving School of the university. To the action joined the head of the Barrier-Free Driving School, military veteran Yevhenii Khokhlov and instructor Andrii Busov.
Within the framework of the action, a column of special transport passed through the central part of the city. At 9:00, the participants stopped the traffic and joined the national moment of silence, bowing their heads in memory of the fallen.
The participation of DSUIA in the event became part of the joint honoring of those who gave their lives for Ukraine. On the Day of Remembrance of the defenders of Ukraine, such unity of the bodies of the system of the Ministry of Internal Affairs acquires special significance, reminding of the price of independence and the common duty to preserve the memory of the fallen.
