With deep sorrow we inform — as a result of an enemy strike, a graduate of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs of 2020, Serhii Shmatko, died.
The police officer as part of the investigative-operational group worked in the Bohdanivska community of the Pavlohrad district after an enemy shelling. During the documentation of the consequences, the occupiers inflicted a repeated strike with a UAV.
At the time of his death, Serhii was 27 years old. After graduating from the university, he worked as an investigator and operative authorized officer of the criminal investigation. Since 2025, Serhii Shmatko held the position of investigator of the investigative department of police station No. 1 of the Pavlohrad district police department.
