The event took place under the chairmanship of the Dean of the faculty, Police Colonel Vladyslav Lazarev.
During the meeting, a number of topical issues related to the organization of educational, scientific and methodological activities of the faculty in the 2026/2027 academic year were considered.
The issues of planning and organization of the scientific activity of the departments of the faculty in the new academic year were discussed. Special attention was paid to the determination of priority directions of scientific research, activation of scientific work of scientific and pedagogical workers and higher education seekers, as well as increasing the practical significance of the results of scientific activity.
The issue of compliance of scientific and pedagogical workers of the departments with the licensing requirements that ensure the conduct of educational activities under educational programs was considered. The state of fulfillment of the corresponding requirements was analyzed and the tasks for ensuring the proper personnel capacity of the educational process were outlined.
Members of the Academic Council also considered the state of undergoing pedagogical and scientific internship, advanced training and other forms of professional development by scientific and pedagogical workers of the departments. The importance of systemic improvement of professional competencies of teachers, mastering modern educational technologies and introducing the obtained experience into the educational process was emphasized.
An important issue of the agenda was ensuring the quality of the design of educational and methodological complexes of disciplines for the 2026/2027 academic year.
According to the results of the consideration of the issues of the agenda, the Academic Council determined the corresponding tasks and recommendations aimed at the further improvement of the scientific, educational and methodological work of the faculty in the 2026/2027 academic year.
