The event dedicated to memorable dates connected with the tragic pages of Ukrainian history was conducted by the listeners of group 2/26 of the CSIPT “Academy of Police” of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs.
The listeners presented presentations: “International Day of Remembrance of the Victims of Fascism” and “Day of Remembrance of Ukrainians – victims of forced expulsion from Lemkivshchyna, Nadsiannia, Kholmshchyna, Southern Pidliashshia, Liubachivshchyna and Western Boikivshchyna in 1944–1951”.
In their speeches, the listeners spoke about historical events, their causes and consequences for the Ukrainian people, emphasizing the scale of human losses, forced resettlement and the preservation of historical memory.
Such events help young people to more deeply understand the history of their state, to remember the fates of people who suffered from the crimes of totalitarian regimes, and to understand the price of peace, freedom and independence of Ukraine.
