At DSUIA, a binary class took place regarding the conduct of covert investigative (search) actions

The event was organized by the professor of the department of criminal procedure of DSUIA, police major Viktoriia Rohalska.

Within the framework of the academic discipline “Covert investigative (search) actions”, the prosecutor of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office Vitalii Nikolaichuk joined the class.

During the class, cadets of the faculty of training specialists for pre-trial investigation bodies of the National Police of Ukraine, together with the practical worker, considered the content of covert investigative (search) actions as means of collecting evidence in criminal proceedings.

Special attention was paid to the powers of the participants in the conduct of the specified actions. The role of the investigator, the head of the pre-trial investigation body, the prosecutor and the operational unit during the organization and implementation of the relevant measures was discussed.

The involvement of practical workers in the educational process gives the cadets the opportunity to correlate the theoretical provisions of the criminal procedural legislation with the practice of its application.

Such classes contribute to the deepening of professional knowledge, the development of practical skills and the formation of the readiness of future police officers to perform tasks in the sphere of pre-trial investigation.
