At Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs, a binary class took place on the topic: “Interaction with the population on the principles of partnership”. The event was organized by the department of administrative law and process and the department of tactical and special training of DSUIA.
Participation in the event was taken by patrol police officers from Dnipropetrovsk, Zaporizhzhia and Donetsk regions, who are undergoing professional development in the department of organization of professional development and specialization of the Institute of Postgraduate Education and Distance Learning of DSUIA.
The invited speaker was the head of the department of improvement of professional competences of employees, providers of social services of the Dnipropetrovsk Regional Center of Social Services Olesia Bilko.
The participants familiarized themselves with the modern system of interdepartmental interaction, the role of each subject of social work, the algorithm of redirection of persons who found themselves in difficult life circumstances, the peculiarities of the work of multidisciplinary and interdisciplinary teams. In addition, an analysis of situations of providing real assistance to persons who need assistance under conditions of martial law was conducted.
The training had a practical orientation and included an analysis of typical situations from the professional activity of police officers, which contributed to the improvement of skills of interdepartmental interaction and effective response to the needs of citizens.
Such meetings are important for developing joint efforts of police units and social services with the aim of effective influence on the improvement of living conditions and protection of children who found themselves in difficult life circumstances and support of vulnerable strata of the population under conditions of martial law.
