“The Combat History of the National Guard of Ukraine”: Introductory Meeting for DSUIA Cadets

An educational meeting was held for first-year cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies of the National Police of Ukraine, with the participation of military veteran Pavlo Ostrohliadov.

During the meeting, the first-year cadets learned about the establishment and development of the National Guard of Ukraine, its role in ensuring national security and its participation in carrying out service and combat missions. Particular attention was paid to the activities of National Guard personnel during the Russian-Ukrainian war and their contribution to protecting Ukraine’s sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Pavlo Ostrohliadov also shared his personal combat experience and spoke about the challenges of military service under martial law, as well as the importance of military discipline, mutual support and coordinated teamwork when carrying out assigned missions. Addressing the cadets, he emphasized the need to continuously improve their professional knowledge and skills, uphold the requirements of the Oath and conscientiously perform their duties.

Such meetings contribute to the cadets’ patriotic education, foster respect for the defenders of Ukraine, and promote a deeper understanding of the responsibility associated with a career in law enforcement.
