The event was organized by the department of special physical training of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs within the framework of the European Week of Sport.
The championship is conducted with the aim of popularizing volleyball among applicants of higher education of Dnipro State University of Internal Affairs and increasing sportsmanship. In the first stage of the competitions, student teams of the Educational and Research Institute of Law and Innovative Education of DSUIA took part.
The participants were greeted by the head of the department of special physical training of DSUIA, police lieutenant colonel Viktor Bohuslavskyi and the director of the Educational and Research Institute of Law and Innovative Education of DSUIA Volodymyr Shablystyi.
From the students of the institute, two men’s and two women’s teams were formed. Each of them proved their skill, winning victory over their opponents.
The players gave themselves fully, defending the honor of their teams.
According to the results of the competitions, among the boys the winner was the team “Herkules”, and among the girls – the team “Puls”.
Such events give applicants of higher education the opportunity to develop sportsmanship, strengthen health, form team spirit and cohesion of student collectives.
