First-year cadets of the Faculty for Training Specialists for the National Police’s Pre-Trial Investigation Bodies took part in improving the grounds of the Dovira Centre for Social Support of Children and Families in Dnipro, a social institution under the university’s patronage.

During the clean-up, the future law enforcement officers collected fallen leaves, tidied up playgrounds and walking areas, cleaned the surrounding grounds and prepared the premises for the autumn and winter seasons.
Particular attention was paid to maintaining the outdoor spaces where children can spend time in the fresh air. By taking part in such initiatives, the cadets helped support the social institution and make its grounds more comfortable for children facing difficult life circumstances.

The charity clean-up gave the cadets an opportunity to contribute to the community and demonstrate a responsible attitude towards local needs. Initiatives like this help foster active citizenship, a willingness to support others and stronger partnerships between the university and social care institutions.
