The event was held with the participation of university cadets and students of the Dnipro Lyceum of Security Orientation and National-Patriotic Education named after O. Hostishchev of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
The aim of the lesson was to develop a culture of safe behavior on the road, increase the level of legal awareness among young people, and prevent road traffic injuries.
The speaker of the meeting was an inspector of the Road Safety Department of the Patrol Police Department in the Dnipropetrovsk region of the Patrol Police Department, Police Captain Dmytro Kozar. During the lesson, he emphasized the importance of strict compliance with the Rules of the Road by all road users, both drivers and pedestrians.
The main focus was placed on issues of personal responsibility on the road, rules for safe crossing of the roadway, adherence to speed limits, and attentiveness while driving. Participants were also reminded of the common causes of road traffic accidents and the consequences of violating traffic rules.
During the event, participants examined practical situations that may occur on the road and asked the inspector questions regarding the specifics of driving in conditions of heavy urban traffic.
Such meetings help young people better navigate road situations, foster a responsible attitude toward driving, and contribute to the development of conscious and disciplined road users.
